Previously on Pretty Little Liars, Lucas likes Hanna, Maya got sent away, Noal got discredited, the Marin's have no money. You can read all about the previous episode here.
So we start off with basically the end of the last episode, the girls watching the video. You know the one I mean. Okay, I think they're actually watching it again, not for the first time. Hehe, they think she's being killed,
but she's just getting it on. They decide not to watch it anymore, and Spencer wants to make hot chocolate.
Hanna says they have to hand in that video, just in time for Ian to come into the room, with the laptop screen open, with the video, paused on his face. Luckily Spencer closes it before he leaves. After they close the laptop lid, Hanna does the funniest face, it's like pout mixed with "Awwww yeaah."
OPENING CREDITS
We are now at Rosewood High, and they are getting ready for some dance. Okay, I remember now, this is the one where Hanna dances with Lucas all night, and Emily gets drunk. Anyway, Spencer arrives and...Spencer I love you but dear god, what are you wearing? Anyway, she think the whole video thing might be a set-up. She's probably right! SPENCER FOR PRESIDENT!!
But Emily makes a good point saying it could clear Toby's name. Good point Emily. Spencer seems to reluctantly agree. Hanna and Sean are chatting away, and Hanna asks Sean about being rehired at the Dental office.
Aria's Mum arrives bringing her old babysitter or something, and they are chatting away. Her name is Simone and she lives in New York, she's had two short stories published. Good for her. But I don't care about her.
Apparently Aria kept an intense journal why she was away. And Simone says she could get published, and that she should thank her for getting her to turn off the OC, and read Wuthering Heights. "It wasn't Wuthering Heights, it was the exorcist." To which Simone replies, "Okay, volume. Mother on campus." Haha, I'm starting to like Simone. She's also really pretty. Simone is going to have coffee with Mr. Fitz, and Aria doesn't seem to excited about that.
Emily's all mad, because she can't call Maya, so Emily suggests asking the new kid for a phone upgrade.
EW ARIA'S COAT IS DISGUSTING!!!! The girls are at lunch, when Hanna sees Spencer's playlist online, Spencer's laptop is gone.
Emily is desperate to speak to Maya, so she gives Caleb some more money. Don't get me wrong, I love Caleb, especially as the series goes on. But in this episode he has like Severus Snape hair with a homeless person's beanie on. Hehe.
Hanna's desperate for a job, but the store can't hire her because her mother owes them money. As she angrily sits in Sean's car, she gets a message from A!

Oh no! Not another one! Aria arrives at Ezra's apartment, but he has to go meet Simone.
Later in Spencer's house, Ian says that he's going to the dance as a chaperone. We all know that's not going to turn out well.
At the dance Hanna brought a flask. How classy. Okay now I can decide who's outfit I like the best.
Spencer sees Ian's coat number, number 62!
Byron arrives at the dance, and has an awkward conversation with Ella, but then it's not so awkward. How nice.
Surprise! Simone is at the dance! She's here to see Ezra. Awkward for Aria. Okay I think I'm giving the best outfit award to....much to my surprise, Aria.
Caleb the current creep, (don't worry, we'll love him later) gives Emily her phone, and Hanna and him have a little witty conversation. Before Hanna gets a text from A!
Job Description: Heart Breaker.
$200 for each dance with Lucas.

Oh no, that's just cruel to poor Lucas.
Spencer goes to tell Aria what number Ian's coat it.
Hanna convinces Lucas to dance with her, Lucas is so cute.
Emily talks to Maya, but something seems a little off. Spencer asks, and apparently 'It seems like she was there, but she wasn't.'
Emily thinks that maybe she'd moved on.
Simone and Ezra seem to be hitting it off, and Simone brings up unnecessary stuff to embarrass Aria.
Hanna continues to dance with Lucas, poor Lucas, and Sean's getting all antsy and annoyed. Hanna gets another message from...do I even have to say?
Want a raise? $500 for every dance with Lucas.

This is so sad, I feel so bad for Lucas.
Spencer breaks into Ian's office. Don't get caught Spencer! But she does! By creepy-ass Caleb.
How much will it cost to make you forget you walked in here?
Byron and Ella dance, Byron pushes a little too hard for them to spend time together. He says it's just a pizza, but she replies "Yeah, but it comes with a lot of toppings." Hehe what a line!
Back to Emily, and she steals Hanna's flask. Nice.
Now we're looking at the dancing again, and I swear the kids of Rosewood High all learned their dance moves from Jersey Shore, there's just fist pumps everywhere.
Spencer tells Aria about what happened with Caleb, but Aria is about to 'kick her (Simone) all the way back to New York' as Ezra and Simone are seen laughing it up. Spencer tries to stop her, but oh no it's not working. Until Spencer asks him to dance with her. He he, Spencer and Ezra is something I enjoy.
Hanna walks out into the courtyard to find a drunken Emily, who's consumed the entire contents of Hanna's flask. She then tells Hanna what she already knows, she's torturing Lucas, and "Alison did the same to me." Emily tells Hanna that Alison would have been really proud of her. Emily walks off, a text comes through.
You have Lucas' heart. Now rip it out.
Last Dance $1000

Hanna walks back to the hall, and Sean tries to make it up to Hanna, wanting to dance with her. When she says that she has to dance with Lucas, Sean breaks up with her. Oh well, don't worry Hanna, Caleb's going to swoop in and take your virginity. Hanna dances with Lucas one last time, after Lucas offers to talk to her outside, but Hanna insists on dancing.
Poor Lucas, he never gets Hanna, and I don't think he will ever. Maybe he could find love somewhere else? Lucas and...Aria! After we find out Ezra is A! Totally. Hahaha. That's never going to happen.
Spencer and Aria seem to have spotted drunken Emily, and try to calm her down. Emily is such a funny drunk. After Emily says "I know what you did." Spencer pretends Emily was talking about her and Ian.
As they escort Emily out, she says "Was that tree always there?" Haha I love Emily.
Lucas offers to drive Hanna home, but Hanna says that she already said she would go with Spencer.
"I can open my own damn door!!!" Haha Emily is so funny.
As Lucas leaves, Hanna finds her money in her pocket.
Aria talks to Ezra, and tells him how Simone and him seem like the perfect couple. Ezra tells her that he is already in love with someone else, maybe....Spencer? Jokes. I joke, I joke.
When they get back to Spencer's, Hanna confiscates Emily's phone as she tries to call Maya. Emily tries to apologise about what she said in the courtyard. Hanna says that she shouldn't apologise, and she was worse than Alison tonight. But Emily's already asleep from listening to her blab on.
Hanna and Spencer find Spencer's laptop, and the video's gone. But a picture pops up of Alison on the night she died! With a message:

There's a shadow, Hanna asks who it is, Spencer says she doesn't know, but I have a feeling she's lying.
As the episode ends, we see A getting their gloves and leather jacket from Ella. How nice, they were at the dance.
