Previously on Pretty Little Liars, Toby is missing still, Jason was around for a bit, someone made a copy of Alison's bracelet, Ezra and Aria drama, blah blah blah. Oh and the memorial was trashed. You can read about the previous episode here.
So we begin in Spencer's kitchen, with Aria, Hanna and Spencer studying for the SATs. They have to know what besotted means. Oh my goodness, even I know what that means. Hanna encourages Aria to get it on with Noal, but Aria is not so keen. Spencer says how things with her and Alex are really good, but she wants it to last, meaning she hasn't told her parents yet.
Emily returns to her house, looking dirty, soaked and panicked. Where has she been? As we start to ponder Emily's phone goes off with a message from A!
There's only so much you can bury, Emily. You're not done with me yet.

Now it's time for school, and the SATs. But maybe it won't be on because of the predicted major storm. Alex arrives and Spencer's Law and Order Mum is all funny. Hmm, what's up with that?

And look who chimes in from the background telling us the real reason York street is closed, yep. You guessed it, Detective I'm-so-creepy-I-just-lurk-in-the-background-until-I-can-find-a-way-to-but-into-your-conversation. Hmm, maybe he's A? I don't know, but he's going on the suspect list.
Anyway so he tells us that the Alison's memorial has been trashed, and everyone's SHOCKED!!!
Detective Creep-Creep-Creeper asks Emily if she's heard from Toby. She says no, oooh her shoes are dirty. Wait why is she wearing them if they're so dirty?
Hanna, Spencer and Aria talk in the library, and then Emily comes in and joins the conversation. When Emily asks what she missed the night before Hanna says "We studied....They studied and I annoyed them." Hehe Hanna, your so funny! Aria's Mum shows up randomly, okay cool.
Turns out Aria's Mum has signed up to teach, and also Aria doesn't want to come over to her Mum's apartment for dinner.
Ashley's sorting out bills in her kitchen when she gets a call from Byron, he needs to come over and fax something.
Hanna talks to Lucas about her online sales, when Mona strolls up cracking all these hermaphrodite jokes.
The girls are still studying when! Bam! Emily get's a message from A!

Spencer tries to talk to Alex about her Mum, but Alex is definitely avoiding.
Hanna tells Mona that she bought her bag. Awks for Mona.
Noal, tries to ask out Aria once again, but invites her to leave the library! What rebels.
Back at the Marin house, Hanna's Mum and Aria's dad are chat a chat chatting.
Noal and Aria are in some room with Noal continuously playing like one chord on guitar. Lucy Hale makes her musical debut, and Emily's reading Great Expectations... Flashback!
Alison and Emily are in the library and they share a nice friendship moment as they talk about Great Expectations. Alison reads to Emily from the book "I loved her against reason, against promise, against peace, against hope, against happiness, against all discouragement that could be."
Emily leans in for a kiss! Alison gives her an almost a sad smile when the short kiss is over.
Back in the present, Emily reads the letter and it's obviously written after they kissed.
Aria is still singing, Aria and Noal are just about to kiss when Mr. Fitz walks in, oh my god. Bad timing!
He wants them all in the library, and Aria and Ezra have another spat.
Back at the Marin house, Byron and Ashley are still chatta chat chatting.
All the students are in the locker room, except Emily, woops.
Back to the flashback, and Emily and Alison are changing, well Alison is. Getting all naked in front of Emily, and talking about how she want to go to Paris. Then asks Emily to do up her bra, and Emily gets a little but too touchy feely, so Alison gives her the ultimate rejection.
Back to the present and books are falling, Emily's bag is gone, as well as the letter. Oh no!
Aria's Mum and Mr. Fitz are chatting and it's about awkward since he's getting it on with her daughter. Well, was at this point.
Back in the lockers, Hanna tells Emily that she can tell Aria and Spencer if she was hooking up with Maya the night before, Emily gets all uncomfortable, just in time for Inspector Doing your mom to come in to demand Emily to come with him, he bangs on a bit about her leaving a bag in a public place! OMG! THE HORROR! Before the other girls come bursting in, and the truth comes out!
Emily was at the memorial the night before, and she reveals that she loved Alison as more than a friend.
Dum da da da dum dum dduuuuumm! Law and Order Spencer's Mum saves the day! Yay! Mrs. Hastings for Prez!!
Woops, bad move on your part Detective I'm-creepy-and-I-do-the-Rosewood-mom's.
Turns out the SATs getting rescheduled.
Spencer asks her Mum what happened between her and Alex. Mrs. Hastings tells her that she had gotten drunk at the Club, and spilled her guts to Alex before he put her in a cab. Turns out before that, she had gone to the doctor and gotten a lump removed from her breast, but she's fine though. She says to Spencer that Alex is a lovely kid and a keeper. TOBY IS MORE OF A KEEPER THOUGH!!!
Back at the Marin household (yet again) Ashley and Byron continue to chat away, it seems like they were going to build some story line with them, but then they were like "Lol, can't be stuffed with this shit."
Back at school, Aria goes and tells Noal and says they should go out, and he says yes!
Spencer goes and finds Alex, lalalala. Where is Toby? I miss him.
Emily and the famous pout are in the library again, that's it.
Hanna and Lucas are talking, and Lucas says thank you for talking to Mona, she's very nice.
"Hanna." Lucas says as she walks away, and OMG his shoes are dirty! Why doesn't anyone change their shoes around here?
As the episode ends we see a very brief clip of Alison saying "I know you want to kiss me." Before the video pauses and is placed in an envelope being sent to the police department....from Anonymous! Who could that be? Lol probably A! I swear you see that "I know you want to kiss me" video like 1000 times.
Anyway, the last episode of the first half of season one is up next, get excited!
